Position Summary

The part-time Audio/Video specialist will lead teams of volunteers to execute high quality in-person weekend service environments at our Vacaville campus. These teams will operate presentation software, front of house mixing, lighting, and live video mixing. In addition to overseeing teams on Sundays, the audio/video specialist will spend time throughout the week to prepare slides, lighting scenes, video equipment, and audio/video improvements inside the auditorium.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality control and execution of all audio/video/lighting teams on Sunday mornings
  • Focus on guiding, directing, coaching, and equipping volunteer teams to operate relevant equipment and software
  • Work directly with the Worship Director and Creative Department to improve environments and program new lighting looks, stage arrangements throughout the year
  • Other technical tasks as assigned, for example: acoustic treatment of auditorium, assembling equipment, repairing or sourcing auditorium A/V equipment, organizing cables, equipment inventory, set-up & teardown of stage equipment for special events, overseeing A/V needs for special facility events, etc.

Necessary Skills:

  • Modern stage lighting
  • Front of house mixing for live music
  • Video routing using a Roland video switcher and Roland HDMI video router, IMAG video feeds
  • ProPresenter, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Coaching and training lay volunteers to operate all systems and equipment
