the vision

Pastor Letter

Dear New Life Family,
I am excited about this Imagine…What God Can Do Campaign. The purpose of Imagine What God Can Do is to raise the needed funds to help us build a permanent facility so we can more fully accomplish our mission to make disciples. This is one of the biggest steps our church has ever undertaken. Only God knows how many thousands of lives will be changed for eternity because of our courage to follow His leading.

This building will be a “bridge of compassion” connecting our church to the real needs of our community. This structure will become a center of hope along the I-80 corridor. It will be “homebase” for launching future multi-site campuses modeling the love of Jesus through good works and ministries.

Our plan is God-sized and will require God-sized faith. “Imagine” will call every follower of Jesus at New Life to go on a faith journey. In the next couple of months you will hear a lot about plans for our new facility, the costs involved and how everyone in the New Life family is needed to make it a reality.

Ultimately though, Imagine…What God Can Do is about Jesus Christ. We don’t “Imagine” a fantasy…but we do imagine what God can do through our lives in Jesus Christ. This faith journey is about allowing Jesus to be the absolute leader of our lives—then watch Him make a difference in others through us.

This guide is a spiritual tool to assist you in your personal faith journey. I encourage you to keep this “Imagine” guide next to your Bible and to use it on a daily basis through this season. Pray for God to lead you in these critically important days at New Life and in our lives. Specifically pray:

“God, what do you want to do through me
to accomplish your will for New Life Church?”

Please make plans to attend every Sunday for this series, join a small group and be a part of “Imagine…What God Can Do” capital stewardship program. Be ready to take one of the most exciting steps of faith in your life.

Together, through our Spirit-prompted efforts we can see God change our community and make a difference for generations to come!

God bless,
Pastor Jon
