Small Groups
Small groups are the key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually here at New Life Church.  If you are interested in signing up for a group, call the church office at 707-426-1050 or contact one of the group leaders.

Dynamic spiritual growth flows out of two basic commitments:

  • A commitment to God and the Bible.
  • A commitment to significant Christian relationships.

It is our goal to have everyone in our church involved in either a small group or another similar small group experience. While most groups are sermon-based, some are special interest groups focusing on topics such as parenting, marriage, recovery, hobbies or common interests.

Small Groups require a ten-week commitment, and are usually comprised of fewer than 10 people. They meet weekly to share, to study God's Word and to support one another spiritually. Most of the groups study a sermon-based curriculum that is provided each Sunday in the New Life Church program.

Currently we have over 20 groups that meet each week. The groups meet for three 10 week sessions from late September through June, taking time to connect in a variety of activities in the summer months. You can view our current small group directory here.

Motorcycles
Regardless of the make, model, year or style of bike you own, you are invited to join us for special events and rides throughout the year.  Sponsored by New Life Church’s group “Blood Bought Riders,” rides are always open to all riders and are free of charge.

Rides are posted in advance; check our web site under the calendar of upcoming events or the Sunday program for more information.  We try to ride at least one Saturday a month (usually between 100-150 miles each way) in addition to special rides and events throughout the summer.

Men’s Ministry
New Life Church’s Men's Ministry is dedicated to helping men become the leaders God calls us to be. We explore opportunities to honor Jesus Christ by practicing personal integrity, building family unity, and demonstrating biblical principles. Becoming a Christian man is not a destination; it is a life-long journey! Programs and special events are designed to help you develop godly character and equip you to influence your world for Christ!  (Ages 18 and up.)

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery provides a bridge between traditional 12-step groups and those within churches of all denominations.

Additionally, people familiar with traditional 12-step programs are offered a fresh understanding of the higher power they have been seeking. Addiction is a disease effecting the body, mind, emotions and soul.  All aspects of a person need to be addressed in order for quality recovery to occur. Celebrate Recovery explores a variety of issues surrounding addiction, compulsion, and codependency.  Groups use the scriptures and Celebrate Recovery workbook as a guide.

Celebrate Recovery is a sharing group— there are no professional counselors or staff, but those who facilitate the group have been walking in their own recovery journey.  Workbooks and materials are compatible with the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

A men’s class in room B-3 and women’s class in room K-1 meet each Sunday at 11:30 a.m. Contact the church office for information: 707-426-1050.  You may also check out the Celebrate Recovery web site.

Softball
The softball league for men and women is up and running!  Teams meet Thursdays at Laurel Creek Park.  Cost is $20 for  18 and older.  To join a team or for more information, contact Rod Peters at 707-330-4743.

Singles
New Life Church is committed to providing a supportive community in which single adults are inspired to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength; are encouraged to grow in healthy relationships with others; and are empowered to serve others in practical ways.

Single adults are invited to join us for special events and activities that are scheduled throughout the year.  Events and activities are posted in advance; check our web site under the calendar of upcoming events or the Sunday program for more information about camps, retreats, trips, events and activities for singles.
